A little fat and a little more wax...Nicely textured. Slightly honeyed... dried orchard fruit and tall grass. In an interesting secondary spot now. Unfortunately not my photo...great label. — 6 years ago
Animal that grew into silky flowers. Still hanging on — 10 years ago
Medium garnet with a light edge. Served a little cold but an excellent wine. Light nose of medium dark fruit and some earth. Medium plus acidity and mild tannins. A find! — 4 months ago
Big, tannic, good acidity, lean with good fruit presence. Great! — 6 years ago
White Rhône. 👌 — 5 years ago
A little like Trévallon with a touch of P. Jasmin's Côte-Rôtie and Grange des Pères backbone. Nicely done, and gone too fast! — 8 years ago

My 4th time trying the 14 vintage of Trevallon. It’s exceptional and among the very best bottles of wine i’ve ever had. Nose has some high toned flowers, cigar, earth, and a funky barnyard note that goes away with some air. Gave it a 2 hour decant. This wine is powerful and mystical. Just when you think it’s too raw and young, there’s finesse and elegance. So much going on and a really long finish. A treat to drink and can’t wait to see how it evolves. This vintage will last a long time. — 3 months ago
