Interesting and tasty red from Pulgia, not sure where obtained. Dark Ruby. Forest, mushroom and ripe dark fruits, keep one sniffing. minerals and acids in balance with almost velvety coating on palate. Long lingering finish. Wonder how it tastes when young. At the end of its life but still kicking. Powerful Nero di Troia with smooth tannins. Perfect lamb accompaniment. Starting to pick up some balsamic notes but those flavors go well with lamb. — a month ago
