Light bodied, fresh fruit, floral quality. — 7 years ago

Unbelievably light and smooth for a young “Nebbiolo”, but of course this is “Chiavennasca” and we are in Lombardia, not the Langhe. Pretty cranberry and blackberry notes with a hint of of something herbal/vegetal. — 4 years ago
July 21, 2019. Dinner w/ Jack D and KK. Purchased at TTW tasting Oct 2017. Dolcetto from the lovely town of Nieve. This was our 3rd bottle and my tasting notes did not survive the evening, but loved this wine! — 3 years ago
Drank at ristorante glicine in cernobbio. Local wine. Very distinct, easy to drink, medium bodied but full of flavor. — 5 years ago
Very nice Nebbiolo with high acidity and cherry on the nose and palate. — 7 years ago
Classic, pure Nebbiolo. Light to medium bodied. So fragrant, licorice, aniseed and hung small goods. A bit of classic wet tar too. Tannins firm but not dominate. Drinking well for an 07. — 7 years ago

Bolognese and Barbera D’Alba on a dreary Thursday night 👌✅ Wine offers tons of plummy fruit notes balanced with high acidity, black licorice, delicate cedar, anise, oregano, and sage notes to pair with, and complement, the meat sauce. Delizioso! ABV 14.5%. Vintage 2016. — 2 years ago
