My kind of wine! Absolutely delicious with or without food! Full bodied, lots of jammy fruit with no hint of sweetness, low tannins, and very drinkable right out of the bottle!! This is just an easy wine to drink without having to think about! Sometimes a wine just tastes right without having to evaluate anything and a Montelpuciano d’Abruzzo is one of my favorites but this particular one, hits all the notes!!! — 12 days ago

At the price surprisingly interesting. Black cherry, damson jam, herby notes (sage/thyme) and some vanilla. On the palate. dried fig and cherry with lingering sandalwood and tobacco. Initially quite acidic and fruity with prominent tannin and quite grippy on the palate. Smoothing out with some opening. Very good at the price. — 7 years ago
