A.D. Beckham Amphora Pinot Gris

Complex yet delicate. 2015 vintage is in a great spot. Pinot Gris can be interesting and this proves it. — 6 months ago

A.D. Beckham Amphora Blanc

Lychee, blood orange, candies citrus, almonds, candle wax, carnations. Rounded acidity, juicy texture, medium bodied, grapefruit rind-tart citrus, salty finish. Interesting oddity, might be the ultimate brunch wine. This rating is for the Riesling NOT Vermentino. — 6 years ago

Wow! Pinot Noir fermented in amphora, inspired by Elisabetta Foradori. Earthy, mineral, a little smoky. — 2 years ago

A.D. Beckham Amphora Vermentino 2016

Pale yellow white in color. Floral, citrus notes in nose. Crisp minerality, a touch of spritz, citrus, vanilla and slight peach flavor, creamy lemon and lime peel finish and aftertaste, some skin astringency on center of tongue, no real bitterness. Decent food wine, good varietal character — 6 years ago

A.D. Beckham Amphora Malbec

Interesting but did not show varietal character and reminded me of a cool climate Syrah. Shy nose, inky color, and noticeable saline that could be coming from amphora. Would try again in another vintage. — 6 years ago
