Great drinking wine especially with pasta. Easy to drink, lots of red fruit and vanilla, low tannins and a little spice. — 9 years ago
Too much tart cherry, almost a sour flavor. Sourness doesn't level out after letting it sit too breathe. — 9 years ago
Really drinkable red; a bit harsh at first but let it breathe for 10 minutes and it had delicious ripe red fruit flavor — 9 years ago
Yummy! Juicy red with heavy cherry notes but not too sweet. Really drinkable. Served with pizza! — 8 years ago
Very easy drinking wine. Didn't necessarily have depth of flavor and had light tannins with black raspberry and vanilla. Drank with chicken stew. Would buy again! — 9 years ago
Metallic notes when drinking alone but nice paired with spicy pizza. Some black pepper and cherry and cranberry notes. Definitely a food pairing wine. Probably wouldn't buy again. — 9 years ago
Smooth very little tannins, plum, vanilla and cherry notes with slight peppery finish. Served as an aperitif and with roast chicken! — 9 years ago
Moonstone Cellars Syrah 2012 from Paso Robles. First taste very tart with notes of tart cherry, blackberry and chocolate. Pretty harsh, not an easy drinking wine. Wouldn't buy again. — 9 years ago
