2012 still holds up as one of the strongest Mendoza Malbec vintages. The wine pours darker than most other Malbecs at this price point, and drinks much much better than most too. It is a very robust and full bodied Malbec, with rich tannins and the occasional bite. Paired this one with a T-bone steak, pâté, and blue cheese. One of our new favorites. — 8 years ago
Much better than non oak-cask variety. A little sweet but more earthy, good round tastes characteristic of a basic but solid Malbec — 8 years ago

Tart and very strong. Not our favorite Malbec, but relatively cheap. Sweeter than most Malbec. — 8 years ago
