Sweet undertones of cherry. Not over powering. Good wine.

More spice; allspice and cardamom on the nose, gives way to bright cherry. Zero tannin.

Dirty ruby in color with medium intensity and a brownish rim.

On the nose, cherries, blueberries, oak, cloves, tart plums, earth, pencil lead, bell pepper, smoke, alcohol, vinaigrette, barnyard and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body with medium-plus acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with strawberries, red currants, oak, cranberries, sour cherries, plums, vegetables, earth, pencil lead, tar, bitter herbs, spices and black pepper.

Medium finish with soft tannins and tart cranberries.

This Malbec is barely drinkable. Unbalanced and simple. Good right out of the bottle, and becomes earthier after an hour of airtime. Lost its fruits very quickly.

It was better paired with the pool and appetizers.

13.8% alcohol by volume.
