Very good indeed. Mushroom, liquorice, blackcurrant, sultana, prune, dark treacle, very interesting. Saline, sweet dark fruits, forest floor, umami, sweet tobacco.
Not hugely long but complex, sweet. Very nice.

Now owned by Jadot but retains the classic Ferret style. Lower acidity, high buttery oak. Great mid palate 'minerality' for want of a better word. Quite quite enjoyable. — 10 years ago
