Shared a bottle in St Augustine, Florida with my wife and best man. 2001 Vintage, decanted briefly and really enjoyed the experience. Rich and balanced, subtle flavors, smooth finish. So much to experience and enjoy with this wine. Old oak scent, leather & tobacco. Nice muted fruit, crushed dark cherries, so amazing! Highly recommended. — 8 years ago
My favorite California Pinot by far. Complex, earth with rich fruit and full body. Easy to drink with nice body. Highly recommended, especially for the price. Very enjoyable for any occasion. — 9 years ago
Merlot with some added grapes, nice easy drinking wine before dinner. Plenty of fruit with some complexity and balance. Amazing wine company, took a tour of their cave in Napa last year and was blown away!! They are consummate professionals with a reputation for good reason. — 9 years ago
Beautiful dark ruby red color, long slow legs. Coats the mouth with a balanced palette of Napa fruit, light spice and full bodied, rich texture. Nice body, great flavor. Pronounced notes of Cola and stewed berries. Very balanced and well rounded, not too dry, not too tart, very very nice Napa Cab (with added blending grapes?). This one is a keeper, well done. — 8 years ago
Very nice, easy to drink. Decanted for 2 hours and drank the entire bottle with a beet salad & Manchego cheese. Really pleased with this one for the price. Nothing out of balance, smooth and fairly light for a Bourdeaux. Not complex but very approachable. Highly recommended. — 8 years ago
For the price, this is a very pleasant Merlot. Easy to drink with plenty of fruit. Nice from start to finish, Columbia Valley really does it right! Enjoyed this wine with a Thai meal, panang curry & vegetables. I appreciated the balance & flavor of this wine. — 9 years ago
Let it open with a decanter, then drank the next day...wow this is a fantastic wine. Lot of texture, body and flavor. Dark rich purple, meaty, toothy, leathery and delicious. The rich layers stick to your teeth & tongue, incredible body. 2011 vintage, very nice nose with plenty of fruit, tannins and taste. This is my first time drinking Tinto Fino...and I look forward to trying other brands and vintages. Remember to let this wine breathe, when I first opened it the nose was not anything like it was a day later. Enjoy!!! — 8 years ago
For the price, this California Pinot is hard to beat. Wow, $3.99 at Trader Joes! Full of fruit, nice body, almost like a light weight Napa Cap believe it or not. Smooth finish, really pleasant. Cheaper than a Latte at Starbucks...for an entire bottle of wine. Works for me. Give this one a try, especially if you are looking for a sweet tasting wine ready to drink-just twist & pour. Good one for a hot Summer evening. — 8 years ago
Very pleasant sipping wine for a fair price. Full body with that distinctive Zin flavor. Nice relaxing effect after 2 glasses, decent alcohol content, gorgeous legs. Wonderful nose, intriguing color. Recommended for sure. Kudos to my mentor at Total Wine for introducing me to this Old Vine California varietal!!! — 9 years ago
