Really very enjoyable with nice acid - almost seems effervescent. Not as funky as I was expecting, but that's not a bad thing! — 9 years ago
Can definitely taste the savory and herbaceous quality as this opens up. Delightful and complex. Makes me want to get a Larkmead membership! — 9 years ago
Grapes harvested in the year in which I met my hubs, so a special wine for sure! A little funk on the nose, which is maybe volatile acidity as others have suggested? Well integrated, beautiful garnet color, and black fruit on the palette with high acidity. Very special! — 8 years ago
First of the Advance Tasting Program from Ridge that we joined recently. Just a wonderful example of Zinfandel with woody and leathery notes at the end. Wonderful and can't wait to try it again in a few years. — 9 years ago
Sophisticated rosé, savory and with an incomparable pinky peach color. Saved this one for after the baby was born, and so might have missed the window a bit. :) — 9 years ago
Should have waited, but couldn't! Nice black fruit and blue fruit with oak. Tannins, acid, and alcohol are high and could use maybe 3 more years in the bottle. — 8 years ago
Old world style with oak that is not overly pronounced and imparts a nice vanilla note. Green fruit and licorice on the finish. Great! — 9 years ago

First wine postpartum! Subtle and soft with dried red fruit. Makes me think of Rose and perfume. — 9 years ago

Such an enjoyable Chardonnay - pear and caramelized flavors with a good dose of acidity. Love Neyers!! — 8 years ago
