We had this with really good cheese, very old Gouda from Holland. That helped the situation. But alone, it is a bit too sweet for a Cab. Not terrible, but wouldn’t go out looking for it; it’s ok if you find it at the corner beer shop and there aren’t many other good options. — 6 years ago

Looks rich and exciting, but doesn't do much on its own, best to pair with meat or aged cheese. Someone here said it goes well with chocolate, I can imagine it would. — 7 years ago
