I study the world one glass at a time.
Funky, reductive nose with some hints of rosemary; fresh, racy, lots of texture, notes of salt, caramel, and lemons; long, oily finish. Similar weight to a good dry Vouvray, but a very different flavor profile. Funkier than what I'm usually into, but I loved it! Paired nicely with the random avocado BLT that I whipped up for dinner, but would pair even better with oily fish dish. — 10 years ago

Fresh herbs on the nose, strawberry and raspberry on the first taste, and a hint of dry cocoa on the finish. Lively, bright, and balanced. — 10 years ago
Wow! Sandlands has been receiving a lot of hype in "cool" wine circles - and now I see why! Gorgeous, balanced, fresh and full. Licorice, rosemary, berries, and just general goodness. #SuperBottleSunday #Sandlands #2012 #santaluciahiglands #Syrah — 10 years ago
The wonderful "Lambrusco" that's not a Lambrusco: Ciso, made by a group of growers/winemakers led by Elisabetta Foradori. Bone dry, loaded with alpine berries and herbs. — 12 years ago
This is the best Fiano that I've ever had. — 12 years ago
