Amats Getariako Txakolina
Bright beige gold. "Clean" nose of underripe quince. Tingly light-bodied palate yields that same quince trending towards pear and adding a bit of wet stone and burnt hay. High-ish acidity enhanced by the sharp, frizzante bubbles. Short finish. Light and simple summer (11% abv) and seafood wine that's a nice alternative to Vinho Verde (and Prosecco Tranquillo). Drink now.

Oct 25th, 2014A delicious and extremely refreshing Txkolina, made out of 100% Hondarrabi Zuri grape, an indigenous white from Euskadi Basque Country.
Feels and taste like an elevated Vihno Verde style, with spritzer, light body and ABV @11%. The persistent and subtle lemon peel makes it a great companion with any seafood or alone.
