Hints of dry yeast, medium vanilla and a slight bit of roasted plum, perhaps black pepper but not spicy... So granite? The combination of fruit forward with fungal qualities is pretty interesting.

Oct 13th, 2016Almost opaque garnet with faint oranging. Ripe red cherry, cedar, maybe a hint of dill / green aromas. Light start, with some bitterness into mid, mouth coating gritty astringent tannins, light acidity, begs a bit more. Will benefit from a few years in bottle, may lack the acid to go longer.
