2009 vintage. Zivo Pinot Noir Williamette Valley. Medium garnet - some browning around the rim. Cherry liqueur, marzipan, sweet spice, smoke and slight earthiness on the nose. On the palate, medium body and acidity, medium minus tannins - slightly chewy. Lots of concentration - menthol and mint, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla and leather notes. Silky textured wine. Finish is surprisingly long and delicious. Not bad at all!
