This will be much better in 24 hours. But it’s really impressive. I find the serious Zieriesen wines need 24 hours to show. Nose is super floral. Lovely pure and detailed red cherry. Tangy. Even some citrus. The floral hit makes this stand out. This has a mindblowing nose. Perfume. Mineral. Just gorgeous. Palate has extraordinary fruit. Juicy and textured with stunning detail and gentle but there extraction. Really incredible palate presence. Long. Obviously young but man this is elite in every way. Brilliant wine. More layer.

Complex aroma: red berries, vanilla, smoke, minerals, earth, wet forest etc. However palate is simpler, medium + acidity, medium tannins, medium aftertaste. There was much rain in autumn of 2016 that’s why mildew occurred, so the winemaker picked separate grapes from clusters
