Rare mix of tannin and fruit of Syrah with finesse of a lighter Alto Adige red. Could use a little more acid, but what fun!

smells like sandalwood, roses, tar, earth, black plums, faint red meat, faint black cherry... has a wonderful rich and smooth mouthfeel over a light but tough structure.... my first teroldego and it kind of reminds me of a right bank bordeaux. grapey and dense- but still gentle.
