Medium Ruby with aromas of berry fruits, currants and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, currants and plum. Full body, medium acidity and fine soft tannins, good balance, medium finish ending with fruit, cacao, herb spice and alcohol tang. Drinks ok now, no aging benefit.

Darker than I remembered many Valpolocellas. This has a brambly fruit character and plenty of weight. Not the Bolla of my youth. Ok with a tomato/tuna sauce with dried fruit.
