Valpolicella Superiore Corvina Blend

Smooth, raisiny. Excellent acidity and medium body

Plum, tobacco, mellow tannins and a Nice Deep Color.

Light and fruity, ripe cherries

Not bad for a cheap(er) bottle on a restaurant list. The glasses we were given were such crap that this never really had a chance to open up (despite my frantic swirling). Would like to revisit under different circumstances.

Cherries and almonds. Very fruity, almost jammy but not quite (thank goodness), with a fun almost tingly herbal finish, kinda like Jagermeister (in a good way). I like. #corvina #valpolicella #veneto #italy #dogsofdelectable

Nose: Red Licorice, Black Tea, Ripe Strawberry, Raisin, Clove. Palate: Sweet, dark berries with medium tannins. Beautiful paired with garlicky pasta. Perfect table wine.

Perfect with chocolate

This is such a good wine for the price point. A bit sharp at the front, then settled into a great wash of licorice and fig and clove. Good start to finish. I don't know another $15 wine that is better than this.
