Medium Ruby with aromas of berry fruits, currants and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, currants and plum. Full body, medium acidity and fine soft tannins, good balance, medium finish ending with fruit, cacao, herb spice and alcohol tang. Drinks ok now, no aging benefit.

Superiore designation requires grapes to be harvested at higher sugar level. Ruby with aromas of wild berry fruits and earthy herb spice, from mostly Corvina. On the palate flavors of ripe black cherry, cranberry, dried herbs and nutty notes. Medium body with lively acidity, fine tannins on medium finish ending with cacao and ripe fruit. Drink to enjoy now, no further aging.

Still yummy, picking up more of a dusty, Merlot-like finish, fun!

Rustic, earthy: licorice, leather, game, leather, dried flowers. Prune, dried dark cherries. High acidity, tannin, and alcohol.

Round, full, plum, raisins, licorice, fig, ripe apple, warm mellow tannins. Very good but Alan thought it was sweeter than usual.
