Feb 13th, 2014I've never been a huge Zinfandel guy, but this one really caught my attention. The Heritage Vineyard produced by the Zinfandel Advocates and Producers, is big, bold, and juicy. Blackberries and cinnamon are on the nose and the tongue. I'm tasting cloves, some very nice spices, and oak on the palate. It's very solidly structured wine that truly opens up with a little decanting. Just a wee bit of menthol on the long finish takes this baby home. This is something I could drink everyday and love.
