Burgenland Zweigelt

A Zweigelt walks into an Ariana Grande song . . .

Almost a fuschia like colour. Red fruit, butter oak and wet dog.

Beaujolais-like...nice value!

Not a bad wine but really far from what i expected from a cool climate grape. Over oaked, low acid snd medium-full bodied. Blackberry and baking spice nose.

Zanthos Zweigrlt 2010 - Austria. Bright, transparent to semi translucent purple hued ruby color. Aroma of red raspberry and mocha. Medium palate, dried strawberry, dried cherry, dried cranberry, good integrated tannin, not overly expressive slight woody herbs on the mid to finish with some toasty smoke. Old world palate, dry, decent with ground meat/burgers! Paired with meatloaf the fruit is a bit more pronounced.

2002 legs like Tina Turner! Wonderful ruby red color with sunset orange run. Very little body:( with the smell of wet sued, vanilla, blackberry, current and brand new Chuck Taylor's

Not the greatest but not terrible

One of the best red wines I've drank in a while. It's perfect without food and goes down very smooth. I love the smell and the color too. A big recommendation from me!
