Toko Vineyard Malbec

I’m going to have Delectable check on this wine. I show it as Zaha Toko Vineyard Paraje Altamira.

I didn’t take notes but, but remember lush dark fruits with fairly strong but not overdone edgy minerals.

Very nice wine for a blend. Nice flavor and soft finish

This is floral , complexed with bright dark fruit characters . With a streak of minerality backing it up . My kind of Malbec !

High elevation, higher acid. Drinks like a Syrah. Dark and rich.

100% Cab Franc from Paraje Altamira, Uco Valley.

Wonderful complex red wine for what I would normally consider to be a Malbec.

Deep purple color.
Aromas of dark fruit.
Dry. Flavors of ripe black fruit, blueberry, blackberry, licorice, floral.

Tasted blind and mistook for a very dark-fruited new world pinot. Bad but not extremely embarrassing, give the the high minerality, balanced ripeness and silky tannins

Just found this in the wine fridge, well worth waiting. Amazing nose, beautiful on the palate and long finish. Incredible with mild curry vegetarian dish. Wish we had not drunk the other bottle.

Nice and complex wine with layers and spices. Although it gave Babs a headache.
