Medium garnet red with lighter edges and a bit fine sediment. A bit gamey to start on the nose with some red berries, a touch floral and savory. Got better with some air. Medium tannins (5/10) and light plus to medium bodied. Some solid Syrah characteristics with strawberries, forest floor, some darker red berries, spices and gravel. Medium length finish. Drink now. Good pairing with dry aged sirloin.
