This is the Estate Syrah, Santa Ynez Valley.
Nose has graphite, dark minerals, inky blackberry extract, and campfire smoke. Broad and mouthcoating, with loads of savory flavors and lots of fine-grained tannin. I think this is reasonably-priced, but it was a gift from my brother, so to me, it’s the best value ever!
