Decanted for 20 mins and it was absolutely singing. A beautiful dusty nose of red fruit. In the mouth the same but add some tangerine like acid and mineral notes. A caressing finish. Not sure what more you can want from a wine.

The 5th member added to the original "Gang of Four." The 13 Yvon Metras is one of the best Beaujolais I've had in awhile. It's round, rich, full and juicy. Dark cherries, dark raspberries, strawberries, pomegranate, cranberries, not too earthy, touch of dry grass, bright red florals, hint of herbaceousness, light minerality and a very long finish. You could definitely fool some people into thinking this is a well made burgundy if it wasn't for the touch of bubble gum on the finish.
