Light-to-medium bodied, with tannins of black cherries, gingerbread, blackberries, light vanilla/oak and licorice. Strong fruit tannins at first, with a subtle spicy finish. Used for cooking traditional coq au vin

I was just informed this is now on the clearance rack at the store for $8. That is probably a more appropriate price than what I paid. It's very drinkable but lacks body has quite a sting of alcohol on the nose and palate. That being said there something intriguing about grabbing a bottle of this and drinking it in a park somewhere.
