Deep golden hue with slightly brownish tones. Very expressive nose of honey, baked apple, and dried pear with just a hint of cheese rind. On the palate there is very ripe fruit, good acidity, and just a hint of residual sugar. Made in a full bodied, oaked, slightly oxidative style, it was a nice accompaniment to homemade lobster pot pies.

Sauvenière. Just as intense and driven as Joly's Coulée. Perhaps a touch more fresh fruit, and less minerality.
