Luscious but still fresh and bright. Loads of time left.

Not showing it’s age. Fresh and vibrant. All the right touches in all the right places. The terminal note of pepper is just smashing. Glad to have more.

The 2005 is 100% Syrah. Lots of raspberry and strawberry on the nose. The palate is similar, although there is also black pepper notes.

On of my favorites from vacation. 2005 Vintage. Earthy funk on the nose. Followed by leather, tobacco, cinnamon and spice box. Plush finish. At Barracuda Grill, Bermuda

Intense complex nose. The wine is at the end of its peak or even beyond it. Variety of tertiary aromas present: confiture, cellar, cooked vegetables, leather, balsamic. Dark fruits and spices. Expressive acidity. Handpicked Syrah from Ampius village. MLF and then 18 months aging in barriques. Côte Rôtie of Northen Rhône wines are finely structured. Terres Sombres wine is typical Côte Brune. Rich and ripe. Powerful and elegant. Rating 4,1/5; WineSpectator 93/100.
