Yering Station
Yarra Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
2011 vintage, opened on 28th June 2019. Light to medium tears. Light floral and Berry nose. Got this light and sweet amine smell when done enough airing. Not to the pungent extreme but light, sweet and flavourful. Slight tangy to palate. Quite easy to drink. Long finishing.

Aug 10th, 2016Good balanced new world cab. Fruit still prominent but balanced by acid and soft tannins. Tired of it, sulfites? But got better after several days half full in Cali bottle at RT.

Apr 21st, 2016Elegant and balanced. The fruit is still vibrant and the tannins have smoothed out. Blackcurrant and cherry predominate with earthy notes of truffles. There is also a hint of chocolate and bell pepper.

What have I become. Screw cap on a 2005 Aussie cab. Formula for disaster. Well maybe not. Nice nose of fruit jumps out from a thick liquid. Time has been good to this screw capped sod.
