I would say this is a good wine if you are trying to make the jump from a dessert type mascotto to a normal red. Kinda a nice in between.

Not one of my personal favorites. More of a drier wine.

It’s Hump day and I grabbed this while quickly running down the vino aisle in Kroger in between dropping one kid off to cheer practice and the next off to basketball. I wanted to try something new (triggered by my new love for this app after being put on by an awesome podcast bad and boozy). I’m def a sweet red type of girl and this was on my want list after reading some reviews for a cheap thrill! If you are in between sweet and dry reds this is def your match. I love sweet so this is far enough from a dry wine but too bodied to be a sweet desert wine. Of course the sweet meter on the back said sweet, but when are those things ever accurate. This 12% of greatness is best served chilled in my opinion! If you’re looking for that after dinner sweet drink this may not be what you’re looking for, but it’s def worth trying! Did I mention the 1.5L cost 9.99 😱 I’ll keep it in my rotation from time to time!

VERY drinkable. A lovely sweet red, great with tapas/meze!
Smells of chocolate, tastes of cherries.
