This actually hurts a little going down my throat, which is probably the spice. There is an a tiny lingering aftertaste of licorice. I don't smell anything other than alcohol when I bring my nose to the glass.

Red fruit flavours: cherry and blackberry but mainly spicy aroma like cinnamon and clove.
Good for the price you pay, but not my type of wine.
