Eucalyptus for days!!!

Menthol and eucalyptus on the nose. Fruits on the palate; black raspberries, plums, blackberries & blue fruits. Black licorice, violets, dry minerals, good acidity and finishes with soft dry tannins. Body is much leaner than those made in Provence. Most of the Australians in this region mostly refer to this grape as Mataro.

Awesome with BBQ ribs. Spicy, meaty and rich enough to balance the sweet and smoke.

Bright, lush, fun. Much more my style.

In such good place, dark and juicy, lovely stuff, smooth and earthy

Bouillon, beefy and dark fruits. Dense but not a black hole sucking the life from the wine. Fun if you can find it!

tastes of savory charcuterie, wood, black cherry, plum, a little anise, redcurrant, some animal, a little bitter almond

Opened up a while to settle the tannins. Still drinking somewhat youthfully, gamey, savoury raspberry notes amongst some black cherry and coffee grounds

A raspberry red wine that moves swiftly in the glass. Subtle sent of almond with a burst of juicy berries. Starts off with a calm yeast then the tannins punch you in the tongue and sinuses. Ends with a short and rough earthiness. This wine can use some time.
