I was excited to try my first Australian Grenache. Dark red, almost purple in color. Dark cherry and ripe strawberry and mulberry aromas with hints of cocoa and baking spices. Hint of aged ham. Same fruits on the pallet with notes of chocolate Earth and licorice. Tannins are soft, silky and well integrated. Lightly Oaked which allows the purity of the fruit to show through.
