I'm big fan of Michel Rolland, but it had lots of oak and some Brett which was a little overwhelming. Softy tannins and deep black fruit.

Aug 22nd, 2024Guess I had this vintage 70 weeks ago, and I found another dusty bottle of this at my wine store. It’s just fantastic - so much life ahead. This is a generous wine, heavily extracted, just gobs of blackberry & cassis, licorice and vanilla - quite decadent. Big fleshy on palate, believe this had a good deal of Malbec in the blend. Has some finesse, well balanced and impressive length on finish.

Big fan of yacochuya. This is there Malbec cab. Not topMalbec. Big nose currant plum. Delicious red fruit>bkack fruit with subtle tannins and oak. Little jolly rancher sweetness. Last long long time . 5 bottles left. 15.3% At least 4-5 years +

Really nice high altitude malbec from Salta. With 15.5 alcohol content, it stays vivid and powerful, keeping a long finish.
Great purchase. Unfortunately, not very easy to find in the US at sub $20 level.
