This is a blend of; 41% Cabernet, 30% Merlot, 17 Cabernet Franc and 12% Petit Verdot. Only made when in the years they believe they have the very best of fruits. On the nose, very floral and lightly spiced fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, black plum & notes of blue fruits. Black olives, green herbs and dark roses. A little more new wood use in this wine. Strong, dark spice, blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, black raspberries and poached strawberries. Soft volcanic minerals, black olive, loamy soil, soft leather, dry stems, violet, dark roses nice acidity and a lean fruit driven finish.

12.3% alc. Tannins fully resolved, light bodied, vibrant ruby color. Redcurrant, sage, loam. I've had my share of older WA wines, and this is one of the best.
