Excellent quality for the price ($37). Ripe peach, grilled nuts and a touch of guava. Oak has been absorbed. Ticks all the boxes of a quality Australian Chardonnay. This is a lesser Cuvée to their top notch Chardonnay, “Chloe”. Congratulations to Stuart Watson and the Woodlands winemaking team.

Another rich Chard, but lacks the restraint and seamlessness of the Kongsgaard. The exotic fruit character and sugar cane-like finish just aren’t for me.

One of the lesser Chardonnay Cuvées from Woodlands after the Chloe. Mild Stone fruit and grapefruit. Some lees work in evidence. Terrific QPR from a good vintage.

Rich, oak present, is fresh, a white floral sense.
