To clarify the Delectable description this is actually Cabernet Franc dominant. This is Woodlands take on a Right Bank blend being 47% Cabernet Franc, 39% Merlot; 11% Malbec; 2% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot. Aromas of Black Currant, vanilla Oak, some violet, Capsicum Mulberry and steeped black Tea. Medium bodied - black currant and medium minus black tea tannins. Medium intensity. An honest effort and reasonable QPR at about $40. Drink last one later this year.

Deep crimson with purple tinges. This is Woodlands “right bank” Blend of predominately Cabernet Franc with descending percentages of Merlot Malbec Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Initially a subdued nose but after decanting and coaxing hints of tea leaf and lavender. Medium weight Soft Tannins Finishes short. Tasted again 92 weeks later on 23 November with consistent notes. Herbal and leafy - very Margaret River. Fine powdery tannins showing a touch of astringency. Drink remaining 2 in next 12 months.
