Wm. Harrison Vineyards & Winery (William Harrison)
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Gorgeous expression. Tasted side-by-side with 2007. This one has a completely different nose. Green forest and heavy on blackberries, not cherries. A little gamey earth and blackberries on the palate. This is rainy Oregon weather Cab. I appreciate both vintages.
Earthier and deeper plummy heaviness as the we drink through the bottle.

Cabby cab nose. Bouquet of oaky cherries. F-me wine for sure. Sleeping beneath the cherry forest in a deep dark pile of fresh pine needles on a waterbed of dark ripe cherries. Slow sip all night long. Tasted side-by-side the 2009.
Deeper darker and danker as the evening flows on...

A nice Napa Cabernet! Black cherries, blackberries, cedar, vanilla & slight spice in the oak finish.

Dec 18th, 2014Dark ruby color. Aromas of licorice, cassis, blackberry and toasted oak. Black fruit, raspberry and a black tea finish. Simply delicious! Paired nicely with a dry aged NY Strip.

Oct 15th, 2022William Harrison Vineyards and Winery, StHelena, cabernet sauvignon 2018. Bill Harrison has done a fantastic job with these grapes. The bouquet is driving home a black licorice and smoke! This is probably due to the Tufa soil in Saint Helena. Very nice bouquet. The palate is immediately flooded with big dark red and black fruit such as blackberry, fig, and black plum. Following the fruit, there are hints of oak and graphite. Then comes the spicy dark chocolate finish. However, there is just a hint of sharp aftertaste on the finish. However, it dissipates relatively quick. And best of all, the finish is also very dry!! I highly recommend this cab.
