Wm. Harrison Vineyards & Winery (William Harrison)
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley, California, USA

Gorgeous expression. Tasted side-by-side with 2007. This one has a completely different nose. Green forest and heavy on blackberries, not cherries. A little gamey earth and blackberries on the palate. This is rainy Oregon weather Cab. I appreciate both vintages.
Earthier and deeper plummy heaviness as the we drink through the bottle.

Cabby cab nose. Bouquet of oaky cherries. F-me wine for sure. Sleeping beneath the cherry forest in a deep dark pile of fresh pine needles on a waterbed of dark ripe cherries. Slow sip all night long. Tasted side-by-side the 2009.
Deeper darker and danker as the evening flows on...

A nice Napa Cabernet! Black cherries, blackberries, cedar, vanilla & slight spice in the oak finish.

These guys never fail me. Consistently good wines bordering on great.

Soft and accessible. Fairly fruity but quite earthy and old-school. Does not feel like a modern Napa cab. I would guess that there’s a decent bit of merlot in this, but I can’t be sure. Mulberries for days. Lacks a little bit of acid if I’m being a critic, but this was great with a peppered steak on a Friday night

Dark ruby color. Aromas of licorice, cassis, blackberry and toasted oak. Black fruit, raspberry and a black tea finish. Simply delicious! Paired nicely with a dry aged NY Strip.
