Wither Hills
Wairau Valley Pinot Noir
Touch of Brett, small short finish, but still extreme quality. Dark brooding berry fruits on the mid palate. Medium plus body , balanced acidity

Nov 26th, 2017Dark cranberry in color. On the nose a chalkiness overlays cherries, jelly bean and sandalwood. Bright and tart acidity that's complimented with its lush medium body. Bright cherries dominate the midpalate with chunks of chocolate and hints of clove and sandalwood. Lively, cool-climate, quality Pinot.

May 7th, 2017Nice dirty nose. Medium body. The interestingness didn't follow through from the nose for me though. A nice drinking pinot, but nothing in there makes me say, wow.

Apr 18th, 2015Strawberry-ish with a hint of menthol for me. Can't find as many earthy flavours as others seem to do...blackberry too, though. Like it a lot.

Mar 14th, 2015Truly outstanding, the best in a while. Massive tobacco.

Nov 16th, 2014Needs time to breath and open up to reveal itself.
Thin and pale to look at.
Medium and soft nose.
Easy and long on the palate. Take your time and savour. It has more depth that initially appears.
