Grand Cru Silvaner. Absurd. This is so elegant and so emotional. I’ve never had a Silvaner like this. Blackcurrant. Complex and harmonious. Dense and elegant. Sappy, dry extract here is stunning. So dense and yet so elegant. Wow.

Jul 30th, 2022What a wine. Gorgeous nose. Huge minerals, hint of sweet wood, so much deep ocean air. Salty. Palate is rich and super bracing with so much salty limestone. Elegant, super pure and really deep. This is terrific dramatic Silvaner .

Jul 3rd, 2021God I love this wine. An epic SIlvaner with white burgundy vibes. Nose has spicey wood, unreal herbals and tons of mineral stank. Wonderful. Palate is a freak show. Insane acids and purity. What structure and so so high toned. Just electric. Rich, energetic, deep and concentrated. Awesome texture and so much depth. This is 1er cru white burg made from SIlvaner. Incredible purity and focus. Just a brilliant wine. What elegance here. Really delicate and refined. Best version of this ever.

Jun 11th, 2021If PYCM made Silvaner. What a wine. Huge nose of light spiced wood, minerals, yellow fruits, lime, a hit of pithy apricot but hugely mineral with that skoche of spicey wood. So good. PYCM but better and less oak. Palate is haunting and elegant with lush fruit and wonderful finesse and elegance. Most elegant probstey Silvaner yet. Wow. Long and only showing 10% of itself. This will age 10-12 years. Concentrated and so juicy. Terrific purity. Stunning length. This is exceptional. Wow. One of the best young Silvaners I’ve ever had. It’s so elegant.

Dec 28th, 2019Stunning. Nose smells like high end St. Aubin. Some herbal Sylvaner. Herbal aromas, light minerals. Lighter minerals. Balanced and pure. So fresh. So clean. Opulent but good acids but not over the top. Genius.

Dec 15th, 2018Haunting nose, lime, black currant, apricot peach, almost sweet and dry at the same time, mineral and juicy with really really nice precision and a gentle explosion. Profound on day 2. Stunning wine.
