Rancho Chimiles Valdiguié

Completely new varietal to me.

While the flavor profile isn’t the same, this wine’s spirit reminds of Beaujolais! Blueberry, raspberry, mint, white pepper. Tannins announce their present but are neatly integrated.

Chewy, juicy, yum!

My second look at the'16. More blue fruit leaning and less red than '15 but just as much deliciousness!

Lovely light clean and fruity "California gamay" that was a great pairing for the extent of a 4-course tasting menu. It's great to find little Napa Valley misfits like this, especially at this low of a price.

Bright and juicy with wonderful dark brambly fruit notes, herbs, licorice, rocks, eucalyptus. Profile comes together in this almost potpourri fashion. Beautiful and extremely quaffable.

People should be all over this wine. Delicious and affordable.

Hard not to guzzle. Outstanding!
