Ahhh you’ve got to love a big glass of red after a long day. I love my Riedel XL varietal glasses, I have 1 Cab Sauv glass and a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir glass (I also had a Riesling but so I’ve broke it!) which I got at a masterclass at the Good Food & Wine Show a few years back.

During the week we cracked this Wills Domain 2018 Mystic Spring Cabernet Sauvignon sample (thank you!!) and boy it went down a treat. Wills Domain are based in WA’s Margaret River region and this Cab retails for $25.

Here’s my notes on it:

It’s an alluring deep ruby shade with purple highlights. It comes across as meaty on the nose to me with a blackberry jus and whiff of cigar smoke. Those juicy blackberries flow through to the palate alongside some nice grippy acidity and sweet vanilla oak tannins. A great tipple to end the day with.

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
