100% Pinot Blanc
Medium straw yellow. Clear and youthful. Medium runny legs.
The nose was ever evolving in the span of an hour we drank it. Started off very reserved and closed, then showed white flower scents, eventually expressed honey comb, and wild honey.
On the palate, this wine is aristocratic. The fruit is aplenty but not show-offy: melon, grapefruit, papaya, lemon. Structurally in tact - medium bodied, medium to med plus acidity, dry. Round with no sharp edges whatsoever, with a hint of smokiness. After an hour, it gave up mineral profile - salinity, quartzite, alkaline. Clean and fresh finish.
If not clear already, give this wine a thorough aeration. You will be handsomely rewarded. Amazing QPR! 89
