21 years and going strong. Acid and fruit still in perfect balance. Wish we had more. Last bottle

On the nose, strawberries preserves, dark cherries, cherries, heavily extracted pomegranate, spice, vanilla, cola, cinnamon, soft dark earth with fresh & dry red florals. The body is full and tannins are nearly completely resolved. The fruits on the palate are ripe, candied and slightly tart as they set. Fruits are; strawberry preserves, dark cherries, cherries, stewed black plum, raspberries & extracted pomegranate. Black raspberry cola, vanilla, fruit tea quality, cinnamon, clove, medium intensity darker spices, fresh red florals, violets, very fine chalky minerals and crushed rock powder. The acidity pours over your palate. The long finish is round, rich, elegant mixed berries & heated spices. Williams Selyem really does farm great fruit. Photos of; the Hirsch Vineyard, their estate at twilight, tasting room and barrel room. The 03 still has 3-5 years of life ahead.

Still going strong. Evolves into smooth strawberry jam as air creeps in. Serving with Salmon.

A cellar pull that was spectacular. Big Strawberry's with a bit if fig and prune.
