Fresh as a daisy after 20 years. Ripe Zin fruit (RRV style) and a lovely silky texture. Listed at 14.8 alc. Just amazing the shape it is in. Delish.

Opened for national zin day last night. First bottle was badly corked and luckily I happened to have one more. Still dark and youthful in appearance. Plenty of fruit remaining, but developing complexity with age. Wears it's 14.8% alc very well. Williams Selyem gets a lot of buzz for the ageability of their pinots, but the zins aren't too shabby either.

Dec 26th, 2022Amazing aromas. Slightly a little too acidic. Nice dry finish. Babs and Uncle Dan both liked it more than me. 20 years might have been too long for this wine. It did open up nicely.
