Round and low acid for a cab, medium bodied and dark fruit flavors. A bit of oak, some cough medicine, vanilla.

It’s nothing special but it’s also a cheap central coast cab so who’s really asking?

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, plums, wood, spices, black pepper, vegetables, herbs, cloves, pencil lead, chocolates and smoke.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet cherries, cloves, vanilla, oak, spices, chocolates, peppercorn, dark coffee and tobacco.

Medium plus on the finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a nice Cabernet from the Central Coast in california. Balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing mild complexity and a nice mouthfeel.

A little weird on the nose, with something I couldn't put my finger on, might be medicine.

Needs 30 minutes to open up properly and show some tannins. Might be too sweet for some.

Dark purple in color with a purplish /ruby rim.

Fruity nose of blueberries, currants, plums, camp fire smoke, oak, vanilla, metals, black pepper, spices and chocolates.

Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with currants, cranberries, cooked strawberries, spices, pencil lead, black pepper, coffee, chocolates, vanilla, wood and tobacco.

Medium finish with medium minus tannins and tart cherries.

A nice everyday Cabernet Sauvignon from the Central Valley in California.
Simple, balanced and drinking nicely now. Not one for long term aging, though. Nice acidity at the ending makes it interesting to drink by itself or with food.

Rather singular in note. Unimpressive.

Lots of jammy fruit bursts on the tongue...black cherry, plum, hints of cassis. A little earthiness rolls up on the backend, smooth as silk. Quite the seductress tempting me with her black velvet. There's a subtle intensity underlying the quiet silk. You have to reveal the layers slowly to find the luscious center. Well worth it.
