This is the new Decades release, not the 17. This is the best bourbon I have tasted in a long time and is a blend of 10-20 year old whiskey, with the core made of 14-16 year old spirits. The result is so easy to drink that it is hard to remember to taste- but when I concentrated, the complexity was beguiling. Like great tête de cuvée Champagne it is so well balanced that it grows in memory.
