A friend and I shared this bottle of Wild Earth 2011 Pinot Noir recently at Mister Walker down on the South Perth foreshore. We were ordering the meat platter and both felt in the mood for a decent Pinot - we knew we couldn't go wrong with a New Zealand 🇳🇿 Central Otago Pinot 😜

In the glass it was a red with a slight hint of orange (a subtle hint to its age). On the nose it was wonderfully aromatic with cherry 🍒, raspberry and vanilla coming through. While in the mouth it was juicy and smooth with those red fruits dominating and a lovely lingering finish. Super approachable which made it the perfect wine for a chilled out night. It was about $56 at the restaurant per bottle.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine
